The aim of their visit was to gain a hands-on understanding of the journey of waste and its destination.<\/p>\n<p>Our eight-year-old guests demonstrated remarkable knowledge and curiosity for waste management, asking numerous questions that our team was delighted to answer. Representatives from Beo \u010cista Energija and Veolia Waste Vin\u010da Operator guided them through various aspects, including the landfill&#8217;s waste route, vehicle logs, waste weighing at the entrance, radioactivity checks, landfill disposal, construction waste processing, and leachate management. The highlight for the children was the room housing the control center of the Energy-from-Waste Facility.<\/p>\n<p>We hope that we met the children&#8217;s expectations and contributed to their understanding of comprehensive waste management. We are grateful to the parents and teachers for encouraging their interest and additional education, as these young minds are the future of our society.
