The construction and demolition waste recycling unit, which has been operational since August 2021 and has a capacity of 200,000 tons per year, captivated their attention. The City of Pan\u010devo is considering implementing a similar solution.<\/li>\n<li>We had the honor and pleasure of hosting Mrs. Milica Uraz, director and Mrs. Maja Mu\u0161kinja, operations director at Steel Impex, a renowned waste recycling company, leading the way in waste recycling in Serbia. Our guests, who are pushing the boundaries in waste recycling in Serbia, were impressed by the control room of the Energy-from-Waste Facility. All participants and partners in the Belgrade Waste Management PPP Project, together with Steel Impex, implement modern practices in waste management.<\/li>\n<li>Mr. Oliver Lepori, executive director of JBAS, together with his colleagues, visited the Energy-from-Waste Facility in Vin\u010da. The PPP project in Belgrade is a Japanese-French project, and Beo \u010cista Energija (which is a special purpose vehicle founded by the French Veolia Group, the Japanese Itochu Corporation and the Margarita Fund) nurtures relations with the Japanese community in Serbia. JBAS representatives had numerous questions and expressed their support for Belgrade waste management system to be successful.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The waste management sector in Serbia is progressing significantly thanks to dedicated professionals who are driving both business development and environmental protection.
