They are carrying out activities as part of developing the Feasibility Study for Waste Management System in Belgrade.<\/p>\n<p>Vladimir Milovanovi\u0107, Director of Beo \u010ciste Energije, presented the Public-Private Partnership Project and the activities at the Vin\u010da Resource Recovery Center. These activities include waste disposal at the new landfill, recycling of construction and demolition waste, treatment of leachate, and waste thermal treatment at the EfW facility, where 340,000 tons of waste are incinerated annually, generating electricity and thermal energy for the citizens of Belgrade.<\/p>\n<p>Given that 650,000 tons of waste were delivered in 2024 (which is 27% more than the contracted amount), proposals were also presented regarding potential future activities in response to the increasing amounts of waste arriving to the Vin\u010da Resource Recovery Center.<\/p>\n<p>Possible solutions for consideration include: the construction of a new EfW facility within the Vin\u010da complex, the establishment of a waste sorting facility, and the installation of solar panels on the old landfill after remediation.
