At Beo Čista Energija, we are proud that through operations at the Vinča Resource Recovery Center, waste is transformed into energy

As part of the project “Improving Waste Policy Implementation in Armenia,” funded by the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (SIDA) with technical support from Brooks Hannas & Partners, the Armenian delegation visited Serbia to explore best practices in  waste management.

Boško Maravić, EHSG Manager at Beo Čista Energija, participated as a panelist in the discussion titled “Waste as a Source of Energy,” held as part of the International Congress on Process Industry “Processing ’25.” Other panel participants included Prof. Dr. Aleksandar Jovović (Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, University of Belgrade), Prof. Dr. Filip Kokalj (Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, University of Maribor), and Nenad Ristić, Senior Manager for R&D Project Planning (Elixir Group). The panel was moderated by Igor Jezdimirović from the Environment Engineering Group.

Beo Čista Energija had the honor of hosting participants of the UNECE (United Nations Economic Commission for Europe) International PPP Forum during their visit to Belgrade, providing an in-depth overview of the operations at the Vinča Resource Recovery Center which is the achievement of the Belgrade Waste Management Public-Private Partnership (PPP) Project.

Mr. Aleksandar Obradović, Managing Director of Beo Čista Energija, participated in a panel discussion titled “The Experience of Serbia in Delivering PPPs Aligned with the SDGs” at the 9th UNECE International Forum on Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs).
