Mrs. Dubravka Djedovic, Minister of Mining and Energy, on 23rd Feb 2023 met with Beo Čista Energija managing directors who expressed gratitude for respective cooperation with the Ministry and informed Minister about Energy from Waste facility ongoing hot commissioning activities and plan to start exporting first MWs of electrical energy recovered from communal waste to Serbian high voltage transmission grid in March 2023. Also, it was reported that achieving full operational status of EfW is expected by June 2023 when 30,24 MWel of electrical energy from renewable resource will become available to consumers in the city of Belgrade while starting from next heating season (2023/24) 56,5 MW of thermal energy will be contributed to Belgrade’s district heating system

Visit of the Mechanical Engineering Students
For the fifth year in a row, the Vinča Resource Recovery Center welcomed a new generation of students from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, University of Belgrade, as part of the cooperation established in 2021 with the Department of Process Engineering.
