Representatives of the international AQUA project – Enhancing Water Management for Climate Change Resilience in the Adriatic-Ionian Area – visited the Vinča Resource Recovery Center as part of a project partners’ meeting hosted by the Municipality of Grocka.
The AQUA project aims to improve water resource management and strengthen climate change resilience through knowledge sharing, the development of common approaches, and the implementation of innovative solutions across the Adriatic-Ionian region.
During the site tour, representatives of partner institutions from Italy, Slovenia, Greece, Montenegro, and Serbia paid particular attention to the leachate treatment system, environmental protection measures, and activities aimed at preserving the water quality of the Danube River.
The visit provided an opportunity to showcase advanced technological solutions in waste management and water resource protection. We were particularly pleased to demonstrate how Beo Čista Energija contributes to environmental protection through the application of advanced technologies and high environmental standards at the Vinča Resource Recovery Center.
