During two organized visits held this and the previous week, students from the Faculty of Technical Sciences, University of Novi Sad, together with pupils from the “Isidora Sekulić” Gymnasium, as well as students from the Faculty of Geography and the Faculty of Biology, University of Belgrade, showed great interest in applied technological solutions in the Vinča Resource Recovery Center.
The growing interest of younger generations in environmental protection confirms that sustainability is becoming one of the key priorities of modern society. We believe that advanced technological solutions, combined with continuous and dedicated monitoring, represent the future we are all striving toward.
At Beo Čista Energija are particularly pleased that future professionals actively participated in the visits – their questions were driven by newly acquired practical knowledge, as well as a genuine desire to contribute to the community.
During the tour, it has been presented how the integrated waste management system in Vinča Resource Recovery Center operates— from reducing landfill disposal through EfW facility and the production of electricity and heat, to reduction of greenhouse gas emissions, recycling construction waste, and treating leachate water.
It was our pleasure to spend the day with the students and pupils and to share our knowledge and experience.
